FUTURE.

"(...)The idea that these two people (Elizabeth and Mr.Darcy) know each other, knew each other when they first saw each other. That they recognised each other from their future." Joe Wright.

MR. DARCY
You must know... surely, you must know it was all for you. You are too generous to trifle with me. I believe you spoke with my aunt last night, and it has taught me to hope as I'd scarcely allowed myself before. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes have not changed, but one word from you will silence me forever. If, however, your feelings have changed, I will have to tell you: you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on.

Keira Knightley and Joe Wright working on Pride & Prejudice.
"How difficult it is to fall in love, and how terrifying and scary to let yourself fall in love."
Joe Wright.

Lovely film. One of those great combinations.

Inspirational Minds: DAVID MAMET

When we fear things I think that we wish for them ... every fear hides a wish.

Here is a sovereign talisman against regret: never do that which might engender it.

The subject of drama is The Lie. At the end of the drama THE TRUTH -- which has been overlooked, disregarded, scorned, and denied -- prevails. And that is how we know the Drama is done.

One can read all one wants, and spend eternities in front of a blackboard with a tutor, but one is not going to learn to swim until one gets in the water.

Find more about him here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Mamet
Plus: Read his books, watch his movies, his plays... :)

Reading his thoughts, essays, opinions, arguments, watching his plays, enjoying his scripts... All of this has given me the certainty of him being an admirable writer and a person with a great and uncommon mind.
He also is someone who understands Art and Artists (writers, actors, directors, cinema, theater...) in a way we all would want to be understood by everyone some day.

I am at peace with my thoughts, way of life, ambitions and  passions thanks to what I have read written by David Mamet in a way I am afraid I will never be able to express with words.

From here I want to Thank him with all my Heart (and Mind).

LETS DIVE! :)

Silvie.
